Yes, but why? Rain does not make your windows dirty, dirt makes your windows dirty. Dust, dirt, soot, and grime accumulates on the outside of the glass from pollen, car exhaust, salty air and many other sources. This dust settles as a uniform layer on the glass. When it rains, the rain drops push the dirt into different patterns and after the water dries the grime remains on the glass. The residue is now highly visible because it is no longer uniformly spread, but is sporadic throughout the pane. Clean glass will stay clean after a rainstorm because once the rain water dries, there is nothing left behind to obscure the view.

Glass is a porous surface that will develop a buildup of contaminants over time. If your windows are not cleaned on a regular basis, these contaminants can actually penetrate the glass resulting in staining and permanent damage. Window replacement is expensive and completely avoidable. Regular cleaning during the rainy season will extend amount the time your windows stay clean and the life of your windows.
